This website is operated by Besere Oil Co., a petroleum transportation, supply and trading company based in the Besre area on the Duhok–Zawita road, 42001 Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. For anything in this policy, write to info@besereoil.com.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There are no user accounts and no forms that submit data to our servers.

The server that hosts these pages may keep standard technical logs (IP address, time and page requested) for security and operations. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

The contact page prepares an email in your own mail application, so nothing is transmitted through this website. If you email us, we receive what you choose to send, typically your name, email address, company and message.

We use this information to answer you and to handle the business you contacted us about. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone outside the company, except where Iraqi law or a competent authority lawfully requires disclosure.

Correspondence that becomes part of a commercial dealing is kept for as long as Iraqi commercial and tax rules require business records to be kept. Other correspondence is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Personal privacy and the confidentiality of correspondence are protected in Iraq by Articles 17 and 40 of the Constitution. Iraq does not yet have a comprehensive personal data protection statute; when the federal Personal Data Protection Law now in preparation comes into force, we will comply with it.

You can email us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, subject to records the law obliges us to keep.

Two external services load when you use this site. Each receives your IP address in order to deliver its content:

Google Fonts serves the typefaces on every page. OpenStreetMap serves the embedded map on the contact page.

Both services process this data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

This policy is governed by the laws of Iraq as applied in the Kurdistan Region. Any dispute arising from it belongs to the courts of Duhok Governorate.

If we change this policy, the new version is published on this page with an updated date.
